Founder & designer · Spring/Summer 2027

The same coat carries two honest prices — the Spring/Summer 2027 line sheet.

Every DTC fashion site prints one number — what a shopper pays. That's correct for a shopper, but it isn't the document a boutique buyer needs to do their job: a line sheet, with a wholesale price and a suggested retail price stated side by side, from the same garment. This page is that line sheet, not a lookbook with a wholesale inquiry buried in the footer.

“A wholesale price isn’t a discount off the real price. It’s the number a store needs to survive being a store — rent, staff, markdowns. Printing both numbers on the same page is just telling the truth about what a boutique actually pays for.” — Amara Adeyemi

How to read this line sheet

Six terms, defined once, used consistently in every table below.

MOQ
Minimum order quantity — the smallest number of units you can order per colourway, per style. Below the table, that number is 2 or 3 depending on the style.
Colourway
A style’s available colours for a given season. Two blazers in the same cut but different colourways are the same style number, not two styles.
Size run
The full span of sizes a style ships in — 00 through 16 across this line sheet. A buyer orders the MOQ spread across the run, not the MOQ in one size.
Delivery window
The season slot a style ships in. This line sheet has two: Delivery 1 and Delivery 2, each with its own order-cutoff date and ship date.
Pre-book vs. at-once
A pre-book order is for goods still in production, placed against a future delivery window. An at-once order ships from stock already on hand. Every style below is a pre-book; reorders on the two carryover bestsellers (the Bellwether Blazer, the Cortlandt Trouser) ship at-once from Delivery 1 stock.
Keystone
The standard 2.0–2.2× markup a retailer applies to a wholesale price to set their own shelf price. Adeyemi Studio publishes both numbers on this line sheet, computed from one keystone ratio — see the line sheet below.

Eight styles, grouped by delivery window. Every style is a pre-book against production — see pre-book vs. at-once above.

How the two prices are computed

SRP below is wholesale × 2.1, rounded to the nearest $5 — Adeyemi Studio's own stated keystone ratio, inside the 2.0–2.2× industry band (RepSpark, AIMS360, Wearview). Change the wholesale price and the SRP moves with it: both numbers are computed from one figure, never typed twice.

“Most line sheets I get are a PDF that goes stale between market week and the actual PO. Amara’s is the same page I can pull up the morning I’m writing the order — same numbers, no surprise when the invoice lands.” — Dara Whitfield, buyer, Bellwether & Rye

Sizing & grading

Every style on this line sheet ships in the same ten-size run, 00 through 16.

How grading works

Adeyemi Studio grades on a straight 1-inch increment per size step across bust, waist and hip — this studio's own stated rule, not a universal industry constant; grading rules vary house to house.

Why deadstock, specifically

Fabric & sourcing

The deadstock story

Deadstock is mill overstock — fabric a larger house ordered and didn't use, or a run that came in short of a minimum somewhere else. Every yard on this line sheet is deadstock on purpose: it doesn't require a custom minimum yardage, which is exactly the constraint a small label kept small by choice runs into everywhere else. It isn't a sustainability badge stapled onto the copy — it's the reason a label this size can run eight styles a season instead of two.

Where it's milled

Deadstock wool
78% wool / 20% nylon / 2% elastane
Originally milled in Biella, Italy — bought as mill overstock through a NYC textile jobber
Care: Dry clean only
Deadstock cotton twill
98% cotton / 2% elastane
North Carolina mill overstock, sourced through the same NYC jobber
Care: Machine wash cold, tumble dry low
Deadstock Tencel-blend
70% Tencel (lyocell) / 30% cotton
Portugal mill overstock
Care: Machine wash cold, hang dry

Garment District, on purpose

Studio & making

The studio

Amara Adeyemi designs, drapes and grades every pattern from a fourth-floor studio at 250 W 39th St, Suite 4B, New York — the Garment District, a short walk from most of the contractors and jobbers this line depends on.

The CMT contractor

Cutting, making and trimming is done by a five-person CMT shop two blocks north — not offshore, and not because offshore is wrong, but because a label this size can't yet meet most offshore factories' minimums without buying more fabric than a deadstock supply chain can promise twice.

What's cut where

Amara cuts and fits the first sample of every style herself, in-house. Grading across the full 00–16 run, cutting production yardage, and construction all happen at the CMT shop, from the same pattern.

Construction detail Horn buttons, hand-set — the finishing detail buyers ask about most.

Cutting the run Production yardage is cut against the marker for the whole size run at once.

FAQ

Questions

Do you run sample sales?

Twice a year, timed to when each season’s samples come back from market appointments — announced by email to the wholesale list and on Amara’s LinkedIn, not a standing public sale.

Can I cancel or change a PO after it’s placed?

Before the delivery window’s order-cutoff date, yes — email or LinkedIn message Amara directly. After cutoff, goods are already cut against your quantities, so changes are limited to swapping colourways within the same style if fabric allows.

What’s the minimum to reorder a style already in my store?

$350 wholesale, same as any reorder — see Wholesale terms above. Reorders on the two carryover styles ship at-once; everything else is next season’s pre-book.
