Loss / damage clause. The borrower named above assumes full financial responsibility for the itemised piece from the moment of pickup until it is returned to the lender in its original condition. If a piece is lost, stolen or damaged beyond ordinary wear while in the borrower's care, the borrower agrees to pay the lender the stated replacement value within 30 days of notice. This letter does not transfer ownership; the piece remains the lender's property at all times.
