Amber is an annotation, not an emphasis colour
The safelight appears in exactly two places on the demo: the grease-pencil ring around a select, and that frame's number in the rebate. Nowhere else. If it were used for emphasis generally it would stop reading as a mark made by someone on the sheet, which is the whole conceit. It is never the only signal either — a ringed frame also says SELECT in words.
The band inverts to paper
Every other dark template in the library bands darker. This one bands to #F2EFE9 — a print on a light table rather than another panel of screen. That forced a second amber (#8A3D00) burnt down to survive a light ground, which is the honest cost of the idea.
Type
Young Serif — display
01 · 09.48am · SELECT
Young Serif is an editorial display face — the arts-magazine register, rather than the script-and-swash lettering the wedding-vendor mainstream defaults to. Spline Sans Mono does the film-rebate job: frame numbers are machine marks, not typography. Neither face appears in days 1–90.
