Family Plan — 3 Members
Three members · unlimited each
$299 $99.67 / person / mo
3rd member effectively $70
Add a third household member for just $70 more — the deepest discount we offer. Perfect for families with multiple kids in the Bushido Kids program or households where everyone trains. Each additional member beyond three is $60/month.
Sibling Kids Add-On
Each additional child
$60 per child / month
50% off the single youth rate
When one child is enrolled in a Kids & Teens program, every additional sibling trains at half price. Applies to Little Dragons, Juniors, and Teens tracks. Keeps a whole family on the mat without a whole-family price.
Family plans require all members to share a single household address and are billed together to one card. Members can be swapped at any time — a parent can hand their spot to a teen, or siblings can rotate. Sibling and third-member discounts stack with the free First Week for each new student. Family open mat runs Sunday mornings and is included with every plan.

Start Here · New Students
Your First Week is free
Free7 days · all disciplines Every new student starts here. The First Week is seven full days of unlimited classes across every discipline — no payment information required, no commitment. It is designed so you can find the martial art that fits you before you ever pay a cent. Here is a suggested path through your free week.
- Days 1–2
Foundations & Grappling
Start with an Intro to Martial Arts or BJJ Fundamentals session — respect and etiquette, safe falling (ukemi), and your first grappling positions. No experience assumed; you set up the mat and learn to move.
- Days 3–4
Striking & Movement
Try Muay Thai Striking — shadowboxing warm-up, partner pad work, and heavy-bag rounds on the 8-limb system. Kids can slot into a Little Dragons or Juniors class the same week to feel the youth program.
- Days 5–7
Pick Your Path
Sample Judo, Karate, or a second BJJ class, then sit down with a coach to map a plan. By the end of the week you will know which discipline (or combination) fits — and which membership matches your rhythm.
Claim Your Free Week
First-time Bushido Academy students only, ages 5 and up. No payment details required to start — just book your first class. Loaner gis and gloves are available at the front desk. One free week per new student; the Intro to Martial Arts 6-week course continues where the free week leaves off.
Program Tracks
Kids and adults train on separate paths
Bushido Academy runs two parallel curricula. The Bushido Kids program is built around child development — confidence, focus, and coordination through age-appropriate Judo, Karate, and BJJ, led by Program Director Priya Kapoor. The adult program is a full multi-discipline martial-arts education from your first day through black belt and, for those who want it, the competition team.
Bushido Kids
Ages 5–17 · by age group
Little Dragons · Juniors · Teens
A dedicated youth curriculum in three age bands, each with its own contact level, belt progression, and character-development goals — respect, focus, and perseverance woven into every class.

- ✓ Juniors (8–12) — technique & belt stripes
- ✓ Teens (13–17) — sparring & real skill

- ✓ Family class Sunday mornings (ages 5+)
Adult Program
Ages 14+ (BJJ) · 12+ (Muay Thai)

- ✓ BJJ Fundamentals & Advanced (gi + no-gi)
- ✓ Muay Thai striking, clinch & sparring nights
- ✓ Judo throws, randori & competition training
- ✓ Shotokan Karate kata, kumite & kyu gradings
- ✓ Weekly open mats across disciplines
- ✓ Pathway into the Competition MMA Team
Grading & Progression
How belt testing works at Bushido
Every discipline at Bushido Academy has a real, earned ranking system — belts are awarded by the head coach of the art based on technical proficiency, mat time, and attitude, never by time served alone or by payment. Below is how the grading calendar and curriculum progression work across the dojo.
How progression works
01 Stripes & Attendance Ongoing
Between full belt promotions, students earn stripes that mark progress within a rank. Stripes are awarded for attendance, technical improvement, and attitude — a white belt with four stripes is ready for blue-belt consideration.
02 Curriculum Checkpoints Per rank
Each rank has a defined syllabus — the positions, submissions, throws, kata, or combinations you are expected to demonstrate. Coaches track your checkpoints so you always know what stands between you and the next belt.
03 Formal Grading Days Twice per year
Karate kyu/dan gradings and Judo rank exams run on scheduled grading days each spring and fall. BJJ promotions are awarded at the coach's discretion year-round, often at open mats or after competition performances.
04 Competition & Black Belt Long-term
Competition experience accelerates progression and is encouraged but never required. The black belt — 10+ years in BJJ — is treated as a lifetime achievement, and the start of teaching the art to the next generation.
Grading fees (which cover the certificate, the new belt, and registration with the governing body where applicable) are billed separately from membership and only when you test. There is no fee to be considered for promotion. BJJ promotions follow the IBJJF framework, Karate follows the WKF kyu/dan system, and Judo follows the IJF ruleset. Kids grade on the Bushido Kids curriculum at their own pace.
