About Mara
Rooted in anatomy.
Driven by results.
I became a massage therapist because I wanted to do work that genuinely changed
how people feel in their bodies. After graduating from the Oregon School of
Massage in 2015, I spent three years in a clinical rehabilitation setting working
alongside physical therapists and chiropractors — which shaped how I think about
bodywork as a therapeutic intervention, not just a luxury.
My practice is built around listening. I don't have a one-size-fits-all protocol:
I assess your posture, movement, and history at each visit and adapt accordingly.
Many clients say it's the first time they've received massage that felt both deeply
relaxing and clinically effective.
I work out of a private suite in Portland's Pearl District, which means no waiting
room noise, no double-booked hallways — just focused, unhurried time for your body.
