This page is noindex: it documents the template for whoever builds with it. Every contrast ratio below was computed against the WCAG relative-luminance formula before shipping, not eyeballed.

The accent, measured — and a brief correction

RESEARCH.md names #F4C10E — HSL(48°, 91%, 51%) — "signal yellow": hi-vis PPE and injection-molding shop-floor signage. RESEARCH.md's own stated ratios (16.1:1 ink-on-ground, 12.0:1 accent-as-text) were rounding overstatements; the actual measured figures, computed with the same WCAG formula used everywhere else in this library, are #EDEBE3 ink on #17171A ground at 14.99:1, and #F4C10E as heading/link text on the same ground at 10.63:1 — both still comfortably AAA (≥ 7:1), just not the exact digits the brief typed. Because signal yellow does fail as text on a light surface, the one light-surface context this page has — the DFM review sheet document itself, rendered as a static SVG with an off-white #F1EFE7 background — uses a darkened, text-only variant. RESEARCH.md's own #8A6100 only measured 4.81:1 on that surface (real, but no margin above the 4.5:1 AA floor); the lightness was moved further down to HSL(42°, 100%, 18°) = #5C4000, which measures 8.34:1 — genuine AAA headroom. No shipped template in this library sits at hue 45–60°; the nearest saturated accents are pet-photographer amber at hue 36° and car-wash gold, both in the 36–45° cluster the brief was written to stay clear of.

Withheld: LocalBusiness

Unlike day 131's ceramics studio (open by appointment) or day 135's furniture workshop, Foundry Product Design has no public-facing address clients visit — engineering work happens in a private studio, not a showroom. No physical-location schema (LocalBusiness, PostalAddress) is asserted anywhere on this page — not on Person, not on Organization — the day's one deliberate settled/withheld decision. Client case studies carry no Product markup at all, not even a priceless one: the client relationship itself, not just the fee, is confidential. Only Anvil, wholly owned by the studio, gets Product + Offer markup, with a real price.

Two modules, read by every surface that shows their numbers

src/lib/shrink.ts's computeCavityMm() is the only place a cavity dimension is derived from a nominal CAD dimension and a resin's shrink rate, and src/lib/tolerance-stack.ts's worstCaseMm() / rssMm() are the only place a tolerance stack is summed. The DFM review sheet's caption, the shrink-compensation worked-calculation <ol>, the ShrinkCavityDiagram, the tolerance-stack table and the ToleranceStackDiagram all read the same functions against the same src/data/anvil.ts and src/data/resins.ts — so no two surfaces on this page can quietly disagree about a number that took real arithmetic to produce. The standalone DFM review sheet SVG in public/reviews/ is a static document, not generated from these modules at build time, so its numbers are kept in sync by hand — flagged here rather than silently assumed.
